Canada's K-12 public education system is considered one of the best in the world. Canada is also home to some of the best universities in the world, with McGill University, University of Toronto, McMaster University and the University of British Columbia ranking among the top 100 institutions in the world. According to Statistics Canada, 54% of Canadians aged 25 to 64 have a post-secondary diploma, and an additional 10.8% have completed an apprenticeship or trade certificate. In some provinces, tuition fees are fully or partially covered for low-income students.
